Maggy Whitehouse is: Prosperity mentor, author, journalist, workshop leader, dog walker, horse rider, drinker of champagne, eater of good chocolate, lover of roses, peonies, sweet peas, sunsets, Tuscany, beagles, Koi carp, cooking—and her husband, Lion. There is an ancient curse; "May you live in interesting times." For me, it turned out to be a blessing—but there were moments along the way... In my life I've survived an encounter with an eight foot barracuda off the Barrier Reef, being swept down a river in full flood and being trapped on a narrow bridge in front of an oncoming Chinese train. I’ve ridden on the back of a tiger, emigrated to Montana, USA for a whole 11 months, been made redundant and I’ve been both widowed and divorced. I survived the dot.com crash after setting up an internet holistic health website which was voted the UK's top alternative site within two months of being up, run my own magazine, been consultant editor on others, owned and run a café, gone out of business, got back into business and been a producer for the BBC World Service. You name it, I've done it. And if I haven't, I probably will. Which is a short way of saying that I've got experience, not just training. I've been down (and stamped on!) and I've tested this prosperity work to the hilt. And I am living, breathing proof that it works because I am still growing happier and more successful every year. This is not a quick fix but it is a joyous lifestyle and it certainly keeps the braincells working! My favourite successes include my published books, The Little Book of Prosperity, The Spiritual Laws of Prosperity, The Chronicles of Deborah, Total Kabbalah, Living Kabbalah, The Illustrated History of Kabbalah, The Secret History of Opus Dei and China By Rail. From Credit Crunch to Pure Prosperity is the latest and The Miracle Man will be hitting the streets in November 2010. I'm also proud of the TV documentaries I made about China, about once being told that I made the best chocolate cake in all of Montana, being a radio presenter for four different radio stations, writing for magazines such as Woman and Bella and the fact that I got my beloved beagle, Didcot, back from America on Passports for Pets when it was impossible to do so (and I did it legally). But most of all, I appreciate the joy of living peacefully, prosperously and happily with my husband, Lion, the best, kindest and funniest love of my life, in a lovely house surrounded by trees in the Midlands of England. | |
