Kabbalah and the Bible Saturday & Sunday 27th/28th November 2010. Location: Birmingham, England. The Bible is still the world’s best-selling book. But the Bible was never meant to be read at face value. It’s a recorded version of an oral tradition that is meant to update itself with each generation to reflect humanity’s evolution (and possibly also the evolution of God!). Kabbalah is the only complete Western Mystical Tradition and it is wonderful for making peace between spirituality, religion and the New Age especially for those who have been wounded by conventional religious belief. It’s also a road map for self-knowledge and soul development. This workshp will be of particular value for those who have felt damaged by conventional Christianity. Kabbalah is the Hebrew word for receive and it means ‘the received wisdom’ or ‘the knowledge.’ It is a perfect tool for understanding the spaces between the words in the Bible. Once you know the structure of the Kabbalistic tree of life (from the Biblical menorah) and Jacob’s Ladder (from the design of the Temple) interpreting the Bible will become a pleasure and an inspiration instead of a stick to beat ourselves with. Sacred Magic of the Angels A six-week Wednesday evening course start date TBA, Birmingham. An evening course on theurgy and the summoning of the Shining Ones. This will be a sacred space for the understanding, appreciating and petitioning the great teaching archangels of humanity including Michael, Raphael, Haniel and Gabriel. We will use ancient ritual and meditation to experience the energies of the angels. This course is based on the teachings of the Western Mystical Tradition and ‘The Knowledge’—the perennial understanding of the relationship between the Divine, the Universe and Humanity. A Woman’s Worth TBA, Birmingham. A one-day workshop on metaphysics and the women of the Bible. There is much talk about goddess energy nowadays but the best stories that can teach women how to be powerful and true to themselves in the feminine still come from the Bible. It’s a soap-opera of love, hate, adultery, deception, betrayal, death, compassion and redemption. We can learn of our strengths and skills from the Matriarchs, of our self-destructive powers from the first legends—and of our destiny and power from the heroines. They are all goddesses—archetypes that can help us to understand ourselves and grow. The word ‘Israelite’ means ‘One who struggles with God.’ The women of the Bible were all Israelites, whatever their faith, and they are still sources of inspiration to anyone wanting to learn from them. Even their mistakes can teach us a great deal. Looking at the lives of the women through the filter of Judaic mysticism (the original form of Kabbalah that dates back 4,000 years) we will learn the metaphysical truth about the Garden of Eden, the role of judgment and mercy in our lives and of the first known woman ‘Anointed of God.’ The day includes an introduction to the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and an internal exercise. Prosperity Development Group This is a monthly class where Maggy shares her most up-to-date knowledge about raising our levels of prosperity at all levels.The Law of Attraction is immutable but and inner states of poverty consciousness can block our pathway to abundance (especially for the spiritually-minded). In this group we address our prosperity issues, ask and receive help and advice from our peers and make commitments to the development of our soul in understanding and receiving the grace of the Source.
